Instrument for Living is led by Philippe Beauparlant, founder of Beauparlant Design, with over two decades of experience across industrial design, interiors, and residential architecture.

His work has focused on designing and delivering private homes at a small urban scale, with a consistent attention to proportion, material, and long-term performance. That work also exposed the limits of the current housing model. Too much variability, too much friction, and not enough repeatability.

His path into architecture and development was not conventional. It was built through practice, formal study, and direct involvement across design, construction, and business. Over time, this led to a way of working that moves easily between big ideas and detailed execution.

That experience now converges in Home05.

This is a return to his foundation in industrial design. Housing approached as a product. One that integrates architecture, interiors, and construction into a single system. Designed to be repeated, refined, and delivered with discipline.
